Obituary of Ola Mae Bristow. October 25, 1908 – October 6, 1990.
Sister Ola Mae Bristow was born to the late Willie and Francis Shelby of Jefferson County, Alabama on October 25, 1908.
She confessed Christ at an early age. She married Council Adams in 1925. To this union nine children were born. After the death of Council Adams, she married Mr. James Bristow of Oxmoor, Alabama.
She departed this life on Saturday, October 6, 1990 at 7:48 P.M
She lives to cherish her memory: Three sons, Clarence and Nathaniel Adams of Birmingham, Alabama, Roosevelt Adams of Milwaukee, Wis; four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Mae Clayton, Mrs. Mabel Adams Roebuck and Mrs. Earnestine Marable, all of Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Mildred Bristow of Mt. View, California; two stepdaughters, Ethel M. Bettis and Rosey Harrison; three daughters-in-law and four sons-in-law; 33 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a host of very dear relatives and friends.
