Obituary of Calvin Adams. May 26, 1913 – August 17, 1993.
Mr. Calvin was born May 26, 1913, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathan and Carrie Adams.
He confessed Christ at an early age, He joined Springfield Baptist Church. Later he moved his membership to Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He was married to the late Mrs. Irene P. Adams.
He was a Member of Christian Union No. 16 and 17, F&A Mason and the Knights of Pythias.
He entered into peaceful rest on Tuesday, August 17, 1993.
He was the youngest of fourteen children. He leaves to cherish his memories: Louise Adams; two daughters, Nellie Wright and Eloise Sales; five sons, Calvin, Jerome, Cecil, Stanley, and James; a devoted and dedicated friend. Mrs. Hattie M. Shorter; six grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
