Obituary of Adolphus Marable. September 14, 1948 – June 14, 1983.

. . . So was the philosophy of Adolphus Marable who was born to the parentage of Leonard and Cloise Marable, September 14, 1948, in Roanoke, Alabama. He departed this life on Saturday, June 14, 1983.
At an early age, He confessed hope in Jesus Christ and united with the fellowship of Believers of the Christ. After moving to Anniston, Alabama he united with the Mount Olive Baptist Church and later he untied with the Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church of Anniston.
He served as a police officer with the Anniston Police Department for several years. His tenure of duty, as such, was a great credit to the black community.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Audrey Marable, A loving mother Mrs. Closie Marable, three sisters, Ms. Lela King and Ms. Bernice King of Bronx, New York, Ms. Marie Marable, Miami, Florida, Lewis Marable and Jesse Marable of Atlanta, Georgia; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
