Obituary of Debra Marable Jackson

Debra Marable Jackson was born December 27, 1959 in Birmingham, Alabama, to Mr. David Marable, Sr and Earnestine A. Marable.

She was educated in the public schools of Jefferson Country, graduating from Shades Valley High School in 1978.

She accepted Christ in her life at an early age and continued her walk in Christ touching many lives.

Debra was an employee of the Birmingham Housing Authority for 26 years and Therapeutic Specialist of Alabama,

On Thursday, November 28, 2008, Debra was called from her earthly home to her eternal resting place.

She is survived by: her husband Carlos Rondell Jackson; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. David Marable, Sr.; five sisters, Jacqueline Brooks, Bridget Kidd, Valerie Rowry, Andrea Marable, all of Birmingham, and Michelle Hunter (Donald) of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers, David Marable, Jr. (Tracey) and John Marable, both of Birmingham, Alabama; a host of nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children: Dewayne, David Jr., Kim, Derrick, Kevin, Bryan, Taylor, Allison, Kayla, Jada, Josh, Cameron, and Her baby Sam. Also, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends; among them, Kimberly Washington.
